  Closing costs in the Los Cabos area are in the range of 4-6% of the final purchase price of your new Home, Condo or Homesite. When you buy property in Mexico you are required to pay  2% Acquisition Tax but the 2% is figured into the 4-6% closing costs fees.

The closing costs are absorbed by the buyer of the transaction, and depend on the value of the property. The costs include a transfer tax, Notary fees, property registration fee, and fees for a tax certificate. They also include title search fees, a property appraisal and clerical expenses. I will supply any buyer a detailed pre closing cost estimate from the Notary.
